Icy Cantaloupe Dessert

Give this low fat vegan desserts recipe a try today. This is one of those cold dessert recipes that you will never forget. The fresh fruit flavor in this easy picnic dessert recipe is unforgettable.

Ingredients
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar or sugar substitute
  • 4 cups fresh cantaloupe pulp
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Cool.
     
  2. Remove cantaloupe from shell and puree in an electric blender on high speed. Add cantaloupe pulp and lemon juice to sugar syrup. Churn freeze.
