Cinnamon Chicken Wings

For a healthy and flavorful take on a classic appetizer, give this healthy chicken recipe a try. Just goes to show that chicken wings don't need to be fried or lathered in a thick sauce to be tasty.

Ingredients
  • 1 6-ounce can pineapple concentrate
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
  1. Mix together pineapple concentrate, chili sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and onion powder to form the sauce.
     
  2. Cut wings apart. Throw out tips or save for stock. Marinate wings in sauce for 12-24 hours.
     
  3. Broil on low 5-10 minutes per side.
Notes

For best cooking results, use a grill.
